Richard's on Menaul and Carlisle

Probably one of the best burrito secrets in Albuquerque. Richard's has one of the best red chili's in town and get this, Whole Wheat Tortillas! This is almost impossible outside of your health food stores. The potatoes in the the breakfast burrito are seasoned just right and normally I'm not crazy about the papitas. The burritos were so good they were gone before we could get a picture.

El Modelo, 2nd street, Albuquerque

El Modelo breakfast burrito: eggs, refried beans, cheese, and chorizo. The flavor at El Modelo is unlike any other restaurant in the world, fantastic!

Strangely, the bacon/beef/sausage eating child is not so fond of chorizo.

LGH true but the tortillas are exquisit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Garcia's Kitchen on 4th and Mountain, Albuquerque NM

The HG family had a lovely morning burrito session at Garcia's Kitchen. The youngling had his with the red chili on the side. The two elders had their burritos smothered in green chili and cheese. The green chili is sublime and reminiscent of my film days when I lived on these breakfast burritos. I went home and took a nap immediately afterwards. The red is very very good.

Red Chili Burrito at RB Winnings, Albuquerque NM

Had the Breakfast Burrito Deluxe with Red Chili. It was delicious, but I could only get half through. The red chili was thick with a single flavor, red chili. Needed a little salt, but perfect Chai Tea made in house made everything perfect. As this is the haunt of one Majestic Hudson, I'm wondering what her feelings are on the red chili. Missed her this morning.

Murphy's Mule Barn, Albuquerque, NM

Located in Albuquerque's north valley (2nd and Alameda), I sampled a meat and cheese with red today. Out of sight. Huge portions with plenty of salt (a fountain Coke with crushed ice balances it out just right). Can't go wrong. Will be sampling other varieties in near future, so stay tuned. . .
